Governance

Authority is distributed and accountable

The World Human Alliance is governed by an independent, fiduciary Board of Trustees. A Charter Delegate body of screened, accountable members holds specific statutory rights, including electing trustees and adopting voluntary declarations subject to Board ratification. A nonvoting Global Advisory Council contributes expertise without control over funding, research or programs.

Board of Trustees

Fiduciary oversight, strategy, budget, executive accountability and final institutional decisions.

Target of seven to nine trustees, with at least two-thirds independent of the founder, staff or any single funder.

Charter Delegates

A statutory membership body that elects and can remove trustees and adopts voluntary declarations.

Selected through open nomination, a published rubric and independent screening. One person, one vote — no vote may be bought, transferred or instructed by a donor or sponsor.

Global Advisory Council

Nonvoting experts and civic leaders who advise on research, programs and regional context.

Conflicts of interest are disclosed; the council holds no fiduciary, financial or program-control authority.

President & Executive Director

Executes Board-approved strategy and directs day-to-day programs, partnerships and operations.

Reports to the Board through an independent Chair. The founder may hold this role but not simultaneously serve as Chair, Treasurer or sole financial signer.

Founder accountability

Dr. Addanki Dayakar — Founder

Dr. Addanki Dayakar founded The World Human Alliance. The founder holds no equity, ownership or automatic successor right in the organization; compensation, related-party dealings and performance are reviewed annually by the independent, disinterested Board.

Non-negotiable

Rules that protect independence

02

No single related family or business group may hold a majority of Board or Charter Delegate votes.
