About

Why The World Human Alliance exists

We are building an independent, nonpartisan global civic, educational and research alliance. Our annual work combines public research, learning, leadership development, inclusive dialogue and a global civic forum around one defined human-development theme.

Vision

“A borderless community of shared responsibility in which every person's dignity is protected, ecological systems can endure, and democratic institutions advance equitable justice and shared prosperity.”

Mission

“To convene inclusive, nonpartisan global assemblies; advance research and public education on threats to human dignity, democratic participation and ecological resilience; develop civic leaders; and publish voluntary ethical frameworks and evidence-informed recommendations for the public benefit.”

Core values

Eight commitments, each with a public test

Human dignity

People are never instruments, political props or data points.

Evidence test

Consent, safety, agency and equal respect are documented in every program.

Planetary stewardship

Human flourishing must remain compatible with ecological systems.

Evidence test

Programs identify and account for material environmental consequences.

Democratic inclusion

People affected by decisions receive meaningful access and voice.

Evidence test

Selection methods, access support and representation gaps are published.

Pluralism

Principled disagreement is protected within nonviolence and dignity.

Evidence test

Competing evidence and dissent can be recorded, not smoothed over.

Evidence

Facts, interpretation and advocacy are kept visibly distinct.

Evidence test

Sources, methods, review, limitations and corrections stay public.

Nonpartisanship

The Alliance advances charitable issues, never candidates or parties.

Evidence test

All communications pass political-activity review before release.

Local leadership

Global work strengthens rather than displaces legitimate local institutions.

Evidence test

Partners share design, attribution and data decisions.

Independence

Money and status cannot purchase outcomes or authority.

Evidence test

Conflicts, funders, recusals and restrictions are documented.

Our theory of change

Outputs

Impact

A durable contribution to human dignity, ecological resilience and democratic participation.
